For our research work, we use the large and unprecedented database we have created over the years. With this data, our researchers publish studies on the ways artists and other freelancers work. These studies take into account social, economic, legal and practical aspects.
The research department is made up of in-house researchers (with backgrounds in statistics, economics, sociology, and cultural management), and also receives contributions from other experts in the field (researchers, lawyers, academics, artists, etc.).
A study about artistic work is published every year, on top of sectoral studies and statistical analyses of our members’ use of our tools. These studies also help us shed light on social and labour-related changes in the creative sector and in the new economy.
In time, our studies will integrate data and research from all the countries we are active in.
